NADA LOKAH {sanskrit for musical spheres}
came into being in the year 2000 with a sitar and keyboard. It is the collaborative work of SCOTT MITCHELL {who has been playing the sitar since 1995} and BUCKY {a sound engineer}. All music is produced and recorded from 'Night Owl Studio' in the south west of Australia >>>

NADA LOKAH seeks to combine orient and occidental styles of music, ancient instruments with modern technologies and traditional forms with experimental treatments. NADA LOKAH strives to experience and capture the synergy of these dynamics in a contemporary synthesis of sound.

NADA LOKAH’s first full-length CD was completed in December 2004 with the release of ASTRAL NATURE: an alchemy of sitar, electro ambient soundscapes and exotic rhythms. Currently they are working on their second album titled THE BLOOD OF SOUND due for release in late 2006.
